Hi. I'm from Southern, Mid-Michigan. My 15 y.o. daughter & I took a vacation to Pigeon Forge, TN June 6 - 12, 2021. On our way home we stopped in Lexington, KY for lunch and unfortunately; were involved in an accident that left our 2015 Buick undrivable. She healed easily from a minor concussion and no other injuries were received; Praise God! Our car was towed and parked in the tow company's locked yard for 8 days. I was Not allowed to remove anyrhing; not to even a cooler w/ice & fresh fruits, or my two separate insulin injection pens & a multitude of other meds. I was informed by Heather that my car was finished and able to be picked up on Friday,, July 9. As you are closed on the weekends; the soonest I could pick it up was yesterday, Monday, July 12. You folks did such a wonderful job with the repairs & matching the paint that you couldn't tell the car had even been in an accident! My only complaint would be that based on prior survey responses I believed there would be more regular contact with your office staff. Heather did not respond to a call left with a gentleman when I called early on to see if my car had been towed to you or not. I was left wondering what was going on over the first 2-1/2 weeks because there wasn't ant ongoing communication occurring. Then around the last week or so ya'll had my car. Once it was towed to your address things did improve. Ashley was always very helpful & professional when I inquired on progress. The last week or so, Heather was great about keeping me updated on the repair progress. I called your office one day either last week or the week before requesting someone to please remove the rotting fruit & drain the water from the melted ice from the cooler. Due to the personal nature of items in customer cars I was told by Ashley that they're not allowed but that she would see how she could aid me as much as possible; as to prevent the spoilage smells. Someone opted to drain most of the water from my cooler; which made it much easier for me to clean up the cooler at a local eatery dumpster so we didn't have to keep smelling that nasty fermenting smell for the entire 5-1/2 hour ride home! So thank you for your great customer care & eventual ongoing contact. I highly recommend Carstar & staff for excellent customer care and for the guys in the back for the awesome repair work they did to allow me to have my baby back in great shape!
