CarStar (Kinston) was great. They called me each day to let me know the status of my car and the parts. However, I called the Cary location the day after my daughter received her car to say that there was a gas smell in the car. I was told that CarStar did not touch the fuel lines so it wasn't anything they did. My car has been at CarStar for months and there was not a gas smell before the accident. I was again told that it was not their fault. I asked if I could take it in to be looked at and was told CarStar could scan it, but again was told that it was nothing they did. My car was at CarStar for 2 months and I was told that I couldn't take the car in to be scanned until the following Wednesday. I understand you are busy, but that is not good customer service. My daughter is still without a car. I took the car to Car Star because of a previous good experience. The Kinston location was very helpful and nice, The Cary location was rude and unaccommodating.
The repairs was wonderful! Everything appeared spot on, but I have problems with the transmission.

I had a total front end replacement including paint. I was kept up to date with each step of the repair in a timely manner. I required a rental during the repair and communication was very good with the insurance company providing the rental.
