Wicklunds CARSTAR & Glass was called “The Body Shop” in Liberty, MO. At the time, Bill Wicklund was renting space from the Tyson Ford Auto Dealership. In 1970, Wicklunds built a new building East of Franklin School in downtown Liberty, MO serving the local area for 25 years. We moved to our new location at 941 Sutton Place Liberty, MO in 1995 and continue to serve the surrounding communities. Wicklunds CARSTAR has maintained the prestigious I-Car Gold Professional Training Status for over 20 years. Wicklunds CARSTAR hosts current, up to the minute training sessions for both Wicklunds CARSTAR employees and other Body Shops / Collision Repair professionals in the area. These courses help by providing specific training to make sure that you the Customer receive a Safe and Proper repair. Wicklunds CARSTAR & Glass Employees receive over 150 hours training yearly to remain qualified to provide our customers with a Safe and Proper Repairs.

Raising Distracted Driving Awareness for Upcoming Winter Road Conditions
CARSTAR Wicklunds Liberty joined in the National Auto Body Council and AT&T’s It Can Wait program, to help raise awareness about the dangers of texting and driving, especially for young adults. The team brought a real world situation to life by transforming an actual vehicle involved in a texting and driving collision into a mobile reminder. The vehicle CARSTAR Wicklunds Liberty has on display was from a young teen who was texting his girlfriend and accidentally drove through a curve in the road and collided with a tree. Thankfully, the teen was safe; however, the damaged vehicle is a staggering reminder. “My family has been in the collision repair business for 50 years and we have all seen firsthand the aftermath of distracted driving collisions. We simply want everyone to be safe as we all know that there is no text worth these collisions, it can wait.
