I-CAR Platinum Certification

The rapid rate at which the collision repair industry is advancing makes continuous training more crucial than ever before. Understanding this, the CARSTAR network has committed to getting its corporate staff trained to earn their I-CAR Platinum certification.

Facilities throughout the CARSTAR network work to earn and uphold up their I-CAR Gold certification. I-CAR Gold certifications require facilities to pass its rigorous standards, as this is the highest role-relevant training achievement for collision repair facilities. CARSTAR encourages its network to invest in this accreditation as it helps stores maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills that contribute to proper repairs, improved business performance and risk reduction.

Now, CARSTAR is investing in the highly respected I-CAR program for its corporate team. Area managers of operations, the insurance team and the central review team have all committed to earning I-CAR Platinum certification, an accreditation for individuals.

This I-CAR Platinum commitment means that CARSTAR will always be up to date on industry advancements at the corporate level, as continuous training is required to uphold the certification. Additionally, area managers will be certified as instructors, benefitting the whole CARSTAR network. This means if a store needs welding training, they no longer have to search for an I-CAR class that may be at an inconvenient distance from them. Instead, the area manager for that region can conduct training in-store.

Self-management in times of change can be difficult, but CARSTAR remains committed to its pursuit to champion advancement and provide consistent and continuous performance through training across North America.
