CARSTAR Continues the Popular Estimating Accuracy Training Sessions around the Country


CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts is continuing its popular Estimating Accuracy and Insurance Performance training program, holding the most recent session in Seattle for more than 25 CARSTAR store owners and team members.


Led by the CARSTAR Insurance and Operations departments, the training program focuses on key metrics, process improvements, technology enhancements, and live estimating and review.  Many of the major insurance carriers participated in the training program.


“Myself and our estimators were very pleased with this class,” said Pat Murray, co-owner of CARSTAR Murray’s in Seattle. “Items that we were fuzzy on were clarified and brought into focus.  It was very beneficial”.  CARSTAR launched the program to help its more than 250 locations around the U.S. continually improve their KPI performance and build their insurance relationships.


“At CARSTAR, we do a tremendous amount of business through the insurance carriers and have more than 100 DRP and PBA programs in place,” said Arlo Johnson, VP of Insurance, CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts.  “That means it is very important to our stores and overall business to ensure we are working closely with our insurance partners to provide the best quality repairs for their consumer customers, and deliver the performance metrics and repair standards to meet each carrier’s guidelines.”


CARSTAR previously held the Estimating Accuracy training program in Phoenix, and plans additional programs later this year.
