Help CARSTAR Manassas Collision Support CF this September

At CARSTAR collision repair facilities across North America, teams are lacing up their walking shoes, filling their buckets and soaking their sponges, and donating their time to get ready for the annual CARSTAR Shine Month to raise valuable funds and awareness for its charitable cause, cystic fibrosis (CF).

During September, CARSTAR collision repair facilities will hold “Soaps It Up” car washes at their locations, participate in fundraising walks, donate their time to community needs and contribute gift cards to local cystic fibrosis (CF) families.

CARSTAR Manassas Collision in Manassas Park, VA is excited to host its first car wash this year also splitting proceeds their local public schools.

“We want to see folks get back on the road and getting back to their lives, while we want to help make sure their car looks good and support a great cause,” said Darah Scott, who manages CARSTAR Manassas Collision. “It’s our first year to be involved in the ‘Soaps It Up’ car wash, and it’s a great way to give back to our community as well as a deserving charity.”

Every year, CARSTAR locations from across North America celebrate Shine Month, a time used to fundraise for its charitable cause, CF. Stores host a variety of events at their facilities to help raise money, while also participating in other local initiatives. CARSTAR is committed to helping Cystic Fibrosis Canada change the meaning of CF to cure found.

CARSTAR began fundraising for cystic fibrosis in Canada over 20 years ago, when a franchise partner’s granddaughter received a cystic fibrosis diagnosis. Since then, the CARSTAR commitment to its charity of choice has only grown, as have the funds raised. Passing the $4 million threshold for funds raised for Cystic Fibrosis Canada and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in the U.S. in 2019, CARSTAR looks to continue accelerating its fundraising momentum across North America.

One of the easiest ways to help CARSTAR fundraise this Shine Month is to visit a participating Soaps It Up car wash, like CARSTAR Manassas Collision on Saturday, September 26.
