LEAWOOD, KS (November 12, 2015) – CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts CEO David Byers made a unique bet on this Major League Baseball playoffs – that his Kansas City Royals would persevere against CARSTAR Collision and Glass Service president Michael Macaluso’s Toronto Blue Jays. The Royals prevailed, so Macaluso had to don a Kansas City Royals jersey at the SEMA Show last week, and donate $500 to Make-A-Wish Foundation in CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts name.

“With CARSTAR headquartered in Kansas City and CARSTAR Canada located in Hamilton, Ontario (near Toronto) there was a lot of excitement leading up to the ALCS showdown between our hometown teams,” said Byers. “There was a lot of good natured ribbing going on between employees and the wager made it even more interesting. In Kansas City we were very confident in the Royals and were thrilled with the outcome and having Michael share in the fun with his very own Royals jersey.”
