Glenn’s CARSTAR Receives a BBB “Integrity Award” for Lincoln

Glenn’s CARSTAR received a Better Business Bureau (BBB) “Integrity Award” at an awards ceremony. The Lincoln auto body repair shop received the award for upholding the highest standard of business ethics. Glenn’s CARSTAR was one of six businesses in Lincoln to receive the awards. This family-owned body shop won for the category of "Businesses with 10-49 Employees". “We are honored to receive this prestigious award for the business my father started almost fifty years ago,” said Allan Hillhouse. “It is a great honor for our body shop to be recognized by the BBB as a company that deals with our customers, insurance partners, employees and vendors in an ethical manner.”

Glenn's CARSTAR Donates the Gift of Transportation

Santa awarded car keys to a domestic violence survivor who desperately needed transportation. The Lincoln, NE mother of three received keys to a repaired and refurbished Chrysler Concorde as part of the Recycled Rides™ program. Recycled Rides™ is a community service project where body shops and insurance companies partner to repair a salvage vehicle and give it to a deserving person who needs transportation to improve their lives. The woman was nominated by Community Action of Lincoln and chosen by a “Recycled Rides” committee. She was walking to work in sub-zero temperatures when she received the news that she had been selected to receive the car. She was a participant in Community Action’s Supportive Housing Program. State Farm Insurance donated the salvage 2004 Chrysler Concorde. Glenn’s CARSTAR in Lincoln repaired and refurbished the 2004 Chrysler Concorde.
