WHO WE ARE ABOUT OUR COMPANY Owners – The Koppy FamilyKoppy’s Body Shop was opened in June 1971 by Ambrose Koppy. While working at several different body shops in the Phoenix Metro Area, Ambrose kept a log of where most of the vehicles were coming from, and with that information he decided the Far West Valley had a great need for a body shop. Using all the money he had saved, and with a little financial help from his oldest brother, he was able to start Koppy’s Body Shop. Ambrose relied on his teenage children to help him as much as possible, a couple of the children left for a short while, but eventually they all would return. Ambrose passed away in December 1985. At that time, his children Paul, Gail, and Lora were employed full time at the shop. Their brother Gary joined shortly after in January 1986. In October of 2010 Koppy’s Body Shop joined the CARSTAR Nation and became Koppy’s CARSTAR Collision. Koppy’s CARSTAR Collision has been owned and operated by the Koppy family for 40 years. Since our inception we have flourished because we have an overriding policy to provide our clients with the best possible service, at a fair price, in a courteous and thoughtful manner. At Koppy’s CARSTAR our clients always come first. Koppy’s CARSTAR Collision has been very involved in the Community. We have enjoyed participating in the Sun City Del Sol Rotary, The Northwest Valley Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, and The American Legion. Throughout the years we have been proud supporters of The Dysart High School Sports. Koppy’s CARSTAR Collision participated in CARSTAR Military month by collecting donations for Pets for Vets and Lap Blankets for USACares.
