Financial Focus Groups
|
On a quarterly basis, franchisees from different parts of the country gather together to review and compare the
financial performances of their operations. This helps to discover the "art of the possible" and to determine the
operational issues that are contributing to performance issues at the profit line. Input from fellow franchisees
enables stores to determine changes that will improve the operation. Additionally, at each meeting a specific
management issue is presented and discussed, such as hiring, performance evaluations, firing, time management,
workplace harassment, conflict resolution and many others.

Take Control
|
In many cases, financial preparation and measurements are not areas of strength in a body shop. A CARSTAR consultant
comes onsite and helps the individual store set up accrual accounting on QuickBooks Accounting Software using the
CARSTAR Chart of Accounts. One person at the store is trained to maintain the accounting system and further follow-up
allows the store to move to timely and accurate financial measurements.

Jump Start
|
This "immersion" process is designed to help a franchisee convert to the CARSTAR systems in a smooth non-interruptive
transition. A CARSTAR consultant works one-on-one to implement the systems that are proven to bring flow, consistency

|
CARSTAR's preferred management system for operating and monitoring the day-today
tasks in the body shop is Mitchell's ABS Management System. Individual help is available at your store to enable your
